The Royal Society Te Apārangi Early Career Research Excellence Award for Social Sciences is awarded annually for the encouragement of early-career researchers currently based in New Zealand for social sciences research in New Zealand. The Early Career Research Excellence Award for Social Sciences consists of a framed certificate and $2,500.
This award will normally be only awarded to one person per year.
The 2019 round will open in January 2019. The closing date is Friday, 29 March 2019.
