The Medal is to be awarded to a person or a team who has through design, development or invention performed innovative technological work the results of which have been significant in their influence and recognition both nationally and internationally, and which have led to significant commercial success.
Please note that this medal is open to team nominations as well as individual nominations.

The 2026 round for nominations is now closed. Nominations will open again in January 2027.
