Dealing with diversity: language, education and minority rights

Stephen May is Professor in Te Puna Wānanga, School of Māori and Indigenous Education, University of Auckland. He is a world authority on language rights and an international expert in the related fields of language education and critical multiculturalism. His research focuses on how modern nation-states can best manage diversity in this increasingly globalised and superdiverse age, particularly in relation to language and education policy.
