The Future of Memory
The past decade has seen a significant reconceptualisation of memory within the field of cognitive neuroscience. Instead of focusing on remembering the past, memory is now considered as critical to many aspects of cognitive functioning and psychological wellbeing. Donna Rose Addis will discuss her use of behavioural and neuroimaging methods to demonstrate close links between memory and future thinking. She will highlight potential interventions for enhancing imagination and creativity.
