New Zealand has been living with a housing unaffordability crisis for some time now. My research follows the circular economy of a six-point supply chain. It’s called 6W, and is from forest to factory affordable family housing. From whenua, to wao, wheketere, whaihanga, to whare and whanau. Its impact extends beyond shelter into jobs and socio-economic wellbeing.
