Video: Dr Jane Goodall's reasons for hope

World-renowned conservationist Dr Jane Goodall spread a message of hope in Wellington.

Famed for her research on chimpanzee behaviour, Jane visited Aotearoa on her ‘Reasons For Hope’ tour. She took the opportunity to meet with Governor-General, Rt. Hon. Dame Cindy Kiro at a private event.

During the event, Jane shared her reasons for hope in conversation with Nicola Toki, CEO of Forest & Bird. They discussed her research, her work as a United Nations Messenger of Peace, and as the Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and ‘Roots & Shoots’ youth education programme, which reaches millions of young people in more than 60 countries.

The event was supported by the British Council New Zealand and the Pacific, British New Zealand Business Association, Forest & Bird, Royal Society Te Apārangi, Tonkin + Taylor, and DLA Piper.
