Ocean Acidification Workshop 2017

Gisborne | Tuesday 31 October

Looking for interesting and practical activities for your science classroom that relate to real world problems?

This workshop will provide resources and support to inspire and guide your students through meaningful investigations that will help them understand our local marine environment and the pressures it faces.

The workshop will focus on “The Ocean of Tomorrow”, an educational resource unit for secondary schools with a focus on the impact of climate change and,
more specifically, ocean acidification on the marine environment.

The session is aimed at secondary teachers (biology, chemistry, general science) and educators with an interest in environmental issues.
