How to nominate

Nominations

Nominations should include:

• The name, address and contact details of the nominator and the nominee
• short biographical details of the proposed nominee (about one A4 page), including details of their botanical work, and expertise as a speaker
• Two references (to be arranged by the nominator), at least one from outside the nominee’s institution.

The nomination should be sent to:  academy@royalsociety.org.nz.

All suggestions will be considered by the Academy Executive Committee who will make the final decision.

The Cockayne Lecturer will tour around New Zealand during 2024/25 to deliver the Cockayne Lecture.
