The Ocean of Tomorrow

The NZ Marine Studies Centre has produced a new Ocean Acidification resource for secondary schools.

"The Ocean of Tomorrow" is a resource designed to help teachers and educators deliver lessons in the classroom that focus on the impact of climate change and, more specifically, ocean acidification on the marine environment.

The resource provides: 

• background information

• instructions for investigations

• instructions for extension experiments

• data forms for students to record their results

• links to a presentation, poster and other useful materials
