Constituent Organisation Conferences
Three of our Constituent Organisations have held conferences in the last month. The New Zealand Society for Oncology held their annual conference, ‘21st Century Cures: from Science to Survival’, in Auckland this year. The New Zealand Society for Parasitology held their conference at Massey University in Palmerston North.
The New Zealand Association of Maths Teachers held their biennial conference in Christchurch. The NZAMT said; "It was an intensive, yet thoroughly enjoyable, professional development experience for all those who attended. Our international keynote speakers, Dan Meyer, Marion Small and Chris Franklin, were all inspiring and thought-provoking in their presentations asking us to reflect on our pedagogical decisions when delivering curriculum to our students".
There is a large group of Constituents holding annual and bi-annual conferences this month. We wish them success and look forward to hearing about the proceedings.
