This year’s Research Honours Aotearoa events were split over Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, Ōtautahi Christchurch and Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. These local gatherings focused on connecting and sharing with one another while celebrating the mahi of Aotearoa's leading scholars and researchers.
Professor Gillian Brock FRSNZ has released a book titled 'Justice for People on the Move: Migration in Challenging Times' which delivers a comprehensive framework for delivering justice for people on the move along with those affected by migration.
Historian Professor Emeritas Margaret Tennant FRSNZ is the lead editor of this new urban history titled 'City at the Centre: a History of Palmerston North'. She also wrote or co-wrote four of the chapters.
Professor Emeritus Russell Poole FRSNZ has also written one of the key chapters on the development of Palmerston North and its infrastructure.
