Treemendous School Makeover – apply now!

Friday 23 June | Applications Close Treemendous School Makeover

Teaching young Kiwis about our natural environment has never been more important – and an outdoor education space is a great way for students to discover, learn and spend quality time in nature.

The Mazda Foundation and Project Crimson can help your school achieve this with a native garden makeover up to the value of $10,000. Your duty is to find the ‘eco warriors’ at your school and get them excited about winning a Treemendous School Makeover.

Planting native trees, plotting out vegetable gardens, and setting up recycling and composting stations are just some of the ways schools are becoming more sustainable.

It’s easy to apply. Just complete the stage one application form by 23 June 2017. On completion of the form you will receive an email confirming your entry.

Ten lucky finalists will be selected to proceed to stage two and submit a plan and budget for the proposed garden makeover. Then four winners will be chosen by the Treemendous School Makeover judging panel to receive a makeover in 2018. Runners up will each receive $500 towards their project.
