Prime Ministers in conversation: climate change in transition livestream

Organised by the Embassy of the Netherlands in New Zealand, Victoria University of Wellington is to host a livestreamed conversation between two Prime Ministers.

New Zealand Prime Minister the Right Honourable Jacinda Ardern, and the Netherlands Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, will participate in an interactive session on climate change and discuss how to ensure a just transition to a carbon-neutral economy. It will be livestreamed and broadcast on the big screen in the Hub. Both leaders will share their ideas, followed by a panel discussion led by University of Auckland's Jennifer Curtin, Professor of Politics and International Relations.

James Renwick, Professor of Physical Geography and 2018 Prime Minister’s Science Communication Prize winner, will start the event in the Hub by talking about how this relates to the university’s climate activities.

The livestream will begin at 5pm.
