Open Geospatial Consortium Technical Committee Meeting

The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Technical Committee will meet in Palmerston North in December; the first time this meeting has been held in New Zealand.

OGC

The meeting is hosted by Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research and sponsored by NIWA, Horizons Regional Council and Koordinates, and supported by LINZ.

The Technical Committee meeting provides a forum for professional discussion of issues and items related to the consensus development and/or evaluation and approval of OGC specifications that provide the ability to build and deploy interoperable geospatial solutions in the larger IT domain.

Delegates are experts in geospatial data from around the world. New Zealand businesses and organisations are able to participate in the open parts of the meeting and the programme and registration is available here http://www.opengeospatial.org/event/1712tc

Two open summits will be held in conjunction with the OGC Technical Committee meeting: "Environmental Data" and "Data, Interoperability and AgriTech".

Details are provided in a dedicated listing for each.
