Beyond the issues: Transforming the face and culture of STEMM in Australia

Dr Marguerite Evans is going to talk about her experience in setting up mentoring initiatives for early- and mid-career researchers (EMCR) in STEMM.

Marguerite is also an internationally recognised advocate for gender equity and has some excellent insights into initiatives which seek to break down some of the barriers in STEMM fields.

This is a topic which should be of great interest to all research fellows and PhD students who are looking to stay in research, as well as any senior staff who might be interested in getting involved in mentoring and equity initiatives.

Venue Robb Lecture Theatre (501-B09) - University of Auckland followed by early lunch at the back of the atrium.

Please RSVP for catering purposes to fmhs-res-fellows@auckland.ac.nz
