ECR Forum Submission to SSAG Phase 1
The Royal Society Te Apārangi Early Career Researcher Forum Committee made a submission to the first phase of the consultation process of the Science System Advisory Group (SSAG). The submission was made on Friday 17 May 2024.
The SSAG was established by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment to provide advice to the government on strengthening the science, innovation and technology system.

Authorship statement
The submission paper is the work of many, published under the auspices of the Early Career Researcher (ECR) Forum of Royal Society Te Apārangi. The SSAG submission process required the name of the submitter and the organisation they represented to be included. This paper was submitted under the name of Ritodhi Chakraborty on behalf of the RSNZ ECR Forum. Ritodhi was one of the Co-chairs of the ECR Forum Committee at the time of the submission. This is not a position paper of Royal Society Te Apārangi.
