Wellington Branch

Read about the Wellington Branch of the Royal Society Te Apārangi

Formed: July 1851 (as the New Zealand Society)

Known founding members: Sir George Grey

As well as hosting lectures, providing scholarships and supporting the annual Wellington Regional Science Fair, the Wellington Branch offers introductory classes for the curious on Astonomy, Biology, Chemisty, Mathematics and Electronics.
