Royal Society of New Zealand Council composition

The Royal Society of New Zealand Council is constituted as follows:

    1. One President;
    2. Three elected Vice-Presidents with specific responsibilities as listed below:
      1. Biological and Life Sciences;
      2. Physical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Technology and Engineering;
      3. Humanities and Social Sciences;
    3. Three elected Councillors
    4. One elected Representative of the Regional Constituent Organisations;
    5. One elected Representative of the Constituent Organisations; and
    6. Up to three Co-opted Councillors

The Chief Executive Officer appointed under Sec 26.1 of the Act is Dr Andrew Cleland FRSNZ.
