Programme Preview

We invite you to join us, the Royal Society of New Zealand Te Apārangi, to celebrate our 150th anniversary between 5 April and 10 October 2017 (the anniversary of our legislation being signed).

We have a programme of events, a book, educational activities, and many stories to share about our history, and the ideas and discoveries of our members to help us to celebrate our past and look to the future.

You will be able to book events through our website as they are finalised so keep an eye out for anything you are interested in as we will be adding more information and events in the coming months.

Ask me a question…

From April to October, school students (up to Year 8) have the opportunity to have our experts answer their questions on a range of topics from space/astronomy to globalisation, with the topic changing each month. View more on ‘Ask me a question…’
